  • Vestibular Dysfunction is a term that describes impairment of the inner ear, and can include symptoms of dizziness (vertigo), balance impairments and nausea.
  • The two most common impairments are BPPV (positional vertigo) and vestibular neuronitis (also known as labyrinthitis). Both of these conditions can be treated by a specially trained physiotherapist.
  • Appropriate treatment manoeuvres and exercises are used in the management of Vestibular Dysfunction.
